  • Ladies Bible Study: On Wednesday, January 10th, we will be starting a new bible study called “Discerning the Voice of God” by Priscilla Shirer. The work book will cost $16. Please sign up at the information table if you would like a book.
  • Teen Fundraiser: On Sunday, January 14th, the Teens will host a home-made soup, salad, bread, and dessert fundraiser. Soup choices are tomato basil, vegetable beef, and potato. The cost is $5.00 per meal and all proceeds will benefit the Teens traveling to Accelerant.
  • Junior Talent Meeting: On Wednesday, January 17th at 6:15pm in the Transformation Station, there will be a meeting for all 8-12 yr. olds and parents. Information for the 2018 Fine Arts Competition will be given out.
  • Legacy Fund Offering Update: Our newest Legacy Project will be to outfit our Gatekeepers Security Team with adequate equipment. The goal of $8,000 will purchase new radios, and AED, and other safety equipment. The next Legacy offering and drawing will be January 21st.
  • Contact Information Update: Please contact us when you have change of address, email, or phone number so that we can update our contacts list and keep you informed with info alerts and phone tree messages. Email the change to Pam at or call the church office at 540-674-4729.
  • Professional Christian Counseling: We are happy to announce that we now have a Professional Christian Counselor available by appointment at VHM. His practice is New Beginnings and his name is Marty Rogozinski. Pastor has known Marty for several years and referred many people to him with good results. If your insurance covers counseling costs, it is accepted by New Beginnings. For appointment, please call Marty at (540) 641-1236.
  • We are happy to announce that a hearing assistance system has been installed in our sanctuary. If you need a receiver, please see our sound tech.
  • Feeding Ministry: We are in need of 2 delivery people for the Feeding Ministry. If interested please see Shelia Willis for more information.
  • Back Pack Ministry: It’s that time of year again and we are in need of peanut butter, slim jims, individual sleeves of saltine crackers and small cans of fruit. This helps feed the children who are less fortunate over the weekend. You may place your items in the designated area of the Omega Foyer. Thank you for your help!
